I often remain logged into sites even after I move away from the tab to do something else. I’m lazy when it comes to logging off from anything other than a banking site. Probably not wise, but honestly, how different are any of you?
This hadn’t bothered me much until recently. Started to thing about comment systems, particularly the commenting system for some things we’re working on. Would people rather use Facebook or Twitter? Something else entirely? What would be most useful to us? What did our users log into most often? A little light reading, and I stumbled across a little light scripting that opened my eyes.
This tool is designed to show you instantly what I’ve remained logged into. Using a mix of API access and simple scripts, it covers Facebook, Twitter, Google and GooglePlus. Kinda useful for some of the questions I’m wanting to answer, but also makes me consider my own habits more carefully. What else am I leaving open like this?
